Seville is a city with a large architectural complex, but if you’re only going to spend a day sightseeing around the city there are things that you should not miss if you want to see Seville in a day. We assume you do night in Seville, so I will reveal what you can see in Seville in a morning and an afternoon.
What to see in Seville in the morning
If you can, start the Church of El Salvador. A temple with an amazing story that will not leave you indifferent. After the visit, you must follow to the Town Hall, as seen on the map, and stroll through the Constitution Avenue to the Cathedral of Seville.
You must know the Word Heritage of Seville. Thus, the best is to start by the Cathedral, the third largest of Christendom Temple and the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world.
After this, your second stop should be the Minaret of the mosque which was made in what now is the Christian Temple, the Giralda. You can stop and contemplate the Giralda from the Trump plaza and certainly must climb, where you will have a fabulous view of the city of Seville.
After this first impression, that I hope you been amazed, it is time that you visit the oldest living Royal Palace in Europe, the Royal Alcázar of Seville. It is ideal that you purchase some official guide, but otherwise the best thing is to take and enjoy its gardens and stays combining elements of Arab architecture, renancista, Gothic and mudejar. When you leave, you are in the Patio de Banderas, a fantastic place for stopping to appreciate the whole Giralda-Catedral.
As it will be the lunch and since you are out there you can go to take tapas with a cold beer on the street Mateos Gago. Choose the bar you want but is known “Columns”, near the end of the street and from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Giralda.
What to see in Seville in the afternoon
Since you have eaten and rested a bit it is time to walk again. We will begin walking around the Barrio de Santa Cruz, a leisurely and enjoy paseao where you can stop somewhere for a coffee.
We continue the tour by the (street water?) Murillo Gardens until the former tobacco factory, to enter even a little, in María Luisa Park. We will take the long tour, since the cigar factory to the called Costurero de la Reina and turn left until you reach the roundabout of Buenos Aires. Thus, we continue our walk María Luisa Park inside.
At the end of our tour you’ll find a majestic building which you can not miss your visits Seville, square of Spain. A spectacular monument worth admiring.
When you go getting is time of change of third, return along the calle San Ferando so you can enjoy another typical monument of the city, The Golden Tower.
What to see in Seville at night
Here I am raising two options. We can continue on the banks of the River to meet the Maestranza bullring and reach bridge of Triana to the homonymous neighbourhood. Where you will enjoy Santa Ana Church, walk through the picturesque streets and delicious tapas in the San Jacinto Street.
Another option is that you prefer to enjoy some of the fantastic flamenco shows that perform every night in the city.
